Labyrinth by Candlelight Thursdays:
Nov 30, Dec 7, 14, 7:00 – 8:30pm
For those interested in learning this simple beautiful practice, there is a Labyrinth workshop on Monday, Dec 4, 6:30 – 8:30pm in the Chapel Meditation Room.
Walking the Labyrinth is an ancient meditation practice of journeying inward through the rhythm of the body to illuminate the depths of the self. Leave your stress and limiting ego on the outside as you walk at your own pace toward the center to connect with your deeper self, sit for a time, and then begin the transition from inward reflection to outward intention setting. The world then calls to you as you walk outward from the center until you are birthed into a fresh new moment of possibility.
On the UVic chapel floor, a Chartres style labyrinth will be laid out for students and community members to walk with Sacred Presence during the last week of classes and through the beginning of the exam term.
